When I started my “Fit Girl Movement” about 3 years ago, all I wanted was to lose a few kilos and feel better. 3 years later, I feel better than I have felt in the last 20 years. I have a new zeal about life and I live it to the MAX! When I started this journey it was just about me, but as time went by I realized how much women actually wanted advice and needed to see a ‘real person’ with REAL RESULTS! So I started this blog as a way to encourage and motivate other woman and men who want to get fit and feel better about themselves. I made myself a promise a few months ago. A promise I wasn’t certain I could keep. But I made it anyway….I promised to be the Best ME I could be!
And whats so difficult about keeping that promise???
Ask any mom why she doesn’t go out with her girlfriends, or why she missed a movie on TV, or why she doesn’t make a trip to the salon to spoil herself once in a while and chances are that her answer will be, “I just don’t have the time”.
TIME is our most valuable resource, and we spend it all trying to be the best mom, the best wife, the best daughter, the best sister, the best friend, the best employee….without realizing there’s none left to be the best ME!
