Hello FGM Followers
It’s been a while since I posted, not for a lack of wanting to but because I didn’t feel inspired to. However, I seem to have gotten my fire back and I have challenged myself to post at least once a week, so here goes!
I have been thinking about this for a while now and I realized that there are so many people walking around living half lives and this bothers me. I am not sure how many of you feel unhappy about yourself or your life? Be it due to image, confidence, weight, status, appearance, whatever it may be, but the one thing I do know is that nothing & no-one can make you feel this unhappy without YOU allowing it!
We are not always on top of it, yes hard to believe I know 🙂 alas we are but only human. We all have something we want to achieve but never quite can, it feels like the goal post is always moving. We all have something about our bodies we loathe, be it fat thighs, big bums, lop sided boobs, frizzy hair…there is something that we wish we could change! We all have those few kilos we want to shed but comfort eating, stresses of life, time, kids, all these things seem to take priority and we slowly feel ourselves slipping further and further away from what we want. I know this because it’s me and it’s you and it’s life!
But is it okay? Is being somewhat happy, sometimes content, partially confident, maybe alive – is this what you want? I know it is certainly not what I want! I want to be on top of the world, I want to feel happiness flow from within my soul, I want to look at my life and ME and be totally content and pleased, I want to have the confidence to take on the world, I want to feel so alive that nothing and no-one can strip that joy from me…don’t you want this too? We are worth more than we give ourselves credit for, we deserve all of this and more and it’s time we took the steps to make it happen.
It’s not impossible to become the person you want to be, it may be challenging at first, it may require some difficult choices, it may even require some sacrifices but you are worth the chance! Start with small changes, it may be hard to stick to it but you owe it to yourself to try. Make time for you even if it’s just a few minutes a day, write down those things you want to achieve before by the end of 2017 and start working towards them. Don’t wait for Monday, next week or next month, start NOW! Set goals for yourself and defy them, I know you can because I HAVE! And it all starts with wanting change and trying.
